“I may have outsmarted the system. But nobody was really hurt.”

This is coming from people who know a type of regret that is difficult to imagine. Individuals whose businesses are now gone. They called it hustling or savviness. In reality, this “culture of the chap” reflects a lack of bitachon.

The Gemara מגילה ו:ב is clear that “With regard to success in business, it all depends upon assistance from Heaven”. Hashem doesn't need us to cut corners to give us what is ours. A business opportunity that isn't 100% glatt kosher is exactly where true bitachon kicks in.

Nugget: Your efforts are a vessel to contain the brocha that is destined for you from above. Commit to earning your livelihood the right way, and trust the outcome.

I wish you a week of clarity, integrity and peace of mind.

Warmly,

Rabbi Levi Landa

Director, Project 432
